EDM heavyweight champion (as so labeled on Spotify) to hit San Francisco with a smash!
NGHTMRE (Spotify link here) is an Electronic Dance Music artist known for his highly contemporary electronic music with a sound that defined the 2010’s. He’s strictly a big superstar in The USA seeing that on Spotify he only has listeners from around the country at his best. His home town, Los Angeles, holds about 76 thousand of his monthly listeners. Then Chicago and Denver hovering in the 50 thousands. Then closing out with Seattle and Dallas in the 40 thousands. Overall he has 3.2 million listeners on Spotify to date.
If you want to know what his music sounds like well just watch any ad or YouTube video that’s popular and it’s bound to have some super generic electronic dance music in the background while the dude making the video is showing off how many dumplings he just purchased or the city he just landed in from the airport. Ya that’s what NGHTMRE’s music sounds like. It’s not a bad thing it’s just what’s in right now you know? It is, so some would say, super trendy.
Now concerning the venue, it is named after a man with great accolades and fame in the Rock N Roll industry rather than the genre as far as I could tell with my minimal internet sleuthing. It is documentary around an hour and a half long about Bill Graham and why he mattered to so many famous musicians in the late 20th century and how San Francisco also mattered as well.
