Chicago is dreaming of a white Christmas…a Jack White Christmas to be exact. It’s time for a Twisted Xmas with Jack White, presented by Q101. Check out the rock legend’s performance at Chicago’s historical Aragon Ballroom on Dec. 8, with supporting acts Wet Leg and Starcrawler.
Jack White has released two commercially successful studio albums in 2022; Fear Of The Dawn came out in April, and Entering Heaven Alive dropped in July. Prior to Fear Of The Dawn’s release, White produced singles “Taking Me Back,” “Fear Of The Dawn,” “What’s the Trick?” and “Hi-De-Ho” with Q-Tip.
As part of his summer 2022 record Entering Heaven Alive, White dropped singles that sometimes intertwined with the release of those in Fear Of The Dawn. Singles from Entering Heaven Alive consist of “Love Is Selfish,” “Queen Of The Bees,” “If I Die Tomorrow” and another version of Fear Of The Dawn’s “Taking Me Back” titled “Taking Me Back (Gently).” Fans may hear the hits from White’s two recent releases at his approaching performance.
Originally part of popular duo The White Stripes, Jack White began his solo career with Blunderbuss. The debut solo album came out in 2012, meaning his two latest LPs mark a decade of published solo work. After 10 years, White’s solo albums stack up to five, not including a compilation of acoustic recordings shared in 2016. After Blunderbuss, White produced Lazaretto in 2014 and Boarding House Reach in 2018, both of which topped U.S. charts.
