Rising star Beatrice K Laus, Better known by millions as Beabadoobee (whatever that means idk), is coming to San Francisco for the first time— :O
For the first time ever, British pop-star Beabadoobee is coming to the Americas for her Beatopia North America Tour this year! She stops here in San Francisco on November 15th & 16th at The Regency Ballroom! Bea’s music ranges from folk to pop to rock to idk-who cares? It makes a lot of money and it’s super popular! If you’re a pubescent girl or you just want to blow money and kill time in San Francisco, then this is your new idea to lighten up your hard week making minimum wage and or dealing with mean kids in class.
Bea, as some call her, has stated in an interview with famed music store Amoeba, that some of her musical inspiration comes from artists such as Icelandic pop powerhouse singer Bjork and Sacramento headbangers Deftones. I was surprised, I love both those artists! Judging from the exposé on her musical taste, she really loves metal and post punk artists like Dinosaur Jr. but plays folk-pop-rock-mish-mash-whatever music. I can see that. If you’re wondering, this artist (from what I’ve sluthed around the web) really does a good job attracting the younger crowd around her age. Being; anyone born after the scare of Y2K.
On Spotify, where she has 10.9 million monthly listeners, her 2020 hit single alongside artist Powfu titled death bed (coffee for your head) released by Columbia Records literally has just over 1.3 BILLION plays!! W0W! I personally don’t see that much engagement on the web in general. She sounds like a big deal, I wonder why I’ve never heard of her before?…. Oh ya! I live in a cave under a rock under a mountain and I’m happy 🙂
things you need to know; lol check this out The Regency Ballroom actually has “House Rules” on their site. LOL No laser pointers? What? Ok well atleast backpacks are allowed in after you get them checked.. So don’t bring your cat’s laser pointer then, or your mom’s sharpie marker, or your older brother’s wallet chain, or the chewing gum you just bought at the corner store just before heading in. But wait there’s more! If you were planning on moving in the building, no luggage allowed! :D…. Bummer…. :c
