Radiohead’s and Smile’s frontman Thom Yorke has a few chosen words for British prime minister, Liz Truss, who claimed the ruling of the Conservative Party have caused extreme distress on the country. Yorke paraphrased the line “No Surprises”  from OK Computer  in a tweet which calls several public figures and Britain’s opposition parties for a general election to end this years rule made by the Conservatives.

“Bring down this UK government, they do not speak for us, right the fuck now. they have no authority, no mandate, no clue, cats in a bag tearing themselves to pieces while the country suffers in extreme distress. enough of this shit. shame on them.” said Yorke

This morning Truss announced her resignation this morning after 45 days in office which make  her the shortest-serving head of state in British history. The reason for the resignation was the  mini-budget  she and her chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng unveiled last month which tackled the country’s cost-of-living crisis while lowering taxes and limiting public spending. The budget ended the country’s economic system and drew condemnation  from the libertarian economists and think tanks that had inspired it.
