Forester at Subterranean on Dec. 9

L.A. duo Forester will come to Chicago this winter. Wicker Park venue Subterranean is set to host the approaching performance. Their concert falls on Dec. 9.

Forester is touring in major U.S. cities, including Chicago. They recently released their third album Watercolor, a 12-track LP dropped in 2022. This album features singles released over two years. In 2021, Forester produced Watercolor singles “Symphony,” “The Flood,” “She Said,” “Falling Water,” “Wish You Well” and “To Feel Alive.”

In 2022, the duo released “Heart” as well as a second version of their Watercolor track “Saint,” a remix with artist Shallou. Their latest single however was not included in Watercolor. “All I Need” is currently a stand-alone single dropped in September of 2022. Fans can get excited to hear some of these tracks and more at Forester’s December show at Chicago’s Subterranean.

Forester consists of Xander Carlson and David Parris. The pair came together in 2019, and the two are based out of L.A. Carlson and Parris write and produce their own music as well as sing, while sometimes collaborating with outside musicians such as Madeline Megery and Kidnap. Forester debuted Kerosene at the start of their music career, which featured dreamy singles “Spark,” “Kerosene,” “Present” and “Neon Lights.” In 2020, Forester released their sophomore album as well as multiple remixes of Kerosene tracks. Their second LP, titled A Range of Light, included popular singles such as “All My Days” and “Falling Fire.”
