FOALS at The Vic Theatre on Dec. 2 & 3

Chicago will soon see two performances by FOALS. Both will take place at The Vic Theatre. Fans can see FOALS play songs from Life Is Yours on Friday, Dec. 2 and Saturday, Dec. 3. The show features opening acts Inner Wave and Glove.

FOALS’ latest album is the 2022 LP Life Is Yours. The June album features five pre-released singles: “Wake Me Up,” “2am,” “Looking High,” “2001” and “Crest of the Wave.” Life Is Yours did especially well around Europe. Subsequent to dropping their seventh album, the band also released two remixes of “2001.” Currently a trio, FOALS consist of Yannis Philippakis, Jack Bevan, and Jimmy Smith. Their 2022 tour celebrates Life Is Yours, meaning attendees can expect the three musicians to play tunes from their new album.

The indie rockers of British band FOALS assembled in 2005, releasing their first studio album in 2008. The debut album Antidotes included singles “Balloons,” “Cassius,” “Red Socks Pugie” and “Olympic Airways.” Some of the group’s most popular LPs include Holy Fire in 2013, What Went Down in 2015 and Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost Part I in 2019, followed by Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost Part II that same year. One of their biggest hits is platinum single “My Number” from Holy Fire, released one year prior to the album’s production.
