Wolf Alice at The Vic Theatre on Oct. 6

The rockers of British band Wolf Alice will visit Chicago as part of their Fall 2022 tour. They plan to play The Vic Theatre on Oct. 6. Supporting artist Luna Li joins them for the tour.

Wolf Alice most recently dropped studio album Blue Weekend in 2021. The 11-track LP consists of four singles: “Smile,” “No Hard Feelings,” “How Can I Make It Ok?” and lead single “The Last Man On Earth.” Building on Blue Weekend, Wolf Alice produced EP Blue Lullaby, complete with five new track interpretations. Fans can enjoy lullaby versions of “Lipstick on the Glass,” “No Hard Feelings,” “Feeling Myself,” “How Can I Make It Ok?” and “The Last Man On Earth” with this 2022 release.

The group emerged in 2010 with London musicians Ellie Rowsell and Joff Oddie. Two years later, they expanded to become a group with Theo Ellis and Joel Amey. In 2013, they released debut single “Fluffy,” which later appeared on 2015 debut studio album My Love Is Cool. In total, Wolf Alice has produced three LPs including 2017 Visions Of A Life and recent release Blue Weekend. All three albums charted globally and received gold certification in Britain. The band also recorded three EPs, one of which featured the Grammy-nominated single “Moaning Lisa Smile.” The track first appeared on 2014 Creature Songs and earned critical recognition with its Best Rock Performance nomination in 2016.

Hannah Bussiere Kim, known professionally as Luna Li, will join Wolf Alice as the supporting act for their upcoming performance. The Canadian pop artist recently dropped debut studio album Duality in 2022. Within the same year, she published EP jams 2, referencing her 2021 release jams EP. She is known both as a singer and multi-instrumentalist, including experience playing the guitar and harp.
