Snail Mail and Mac Demarco Share Laugh-Inducing New Collab “A Cuckhold’s Refrain – Peppermint Patty”

Lindsey Jordan of Snail Mail and Mac Demarco have shared their latest collaboration “A Cuckhold’s Refrain – Peppermint Patty.” Mail and Demarco recorded the  song two years ago in DeMarco’s garage and the tune features special guests saxophonist  Domi & JD Beck and artist Deaton Chris Anthony. The last time Snail Mail released music was last year when she dropped Valentine  whereas DeMarco’s last album was Here Comes the Cowboy  in 2019.

“A Cuckhold’s Refrain – Peppermint Patty” is a poppy tune which has  delicate instrumentation and vocal performance. As a whole, the instrumentation is stunning by how the drum and guitar playing brings a strong mix of jazz and pop music. Also the vocals by Mail and DeMarco are fantastic because the presence of both singers gives this piece a sense of freedom from leaving a toxic woman.
