Next week, singer Raye Zaragoza will be performing in New York City on September 10th.
Raye Zaragoza is a singer-songwriter from Manhattan who has been musically inclined since her childhood. She released her debut EP ‘Heroine’ in 2015. In 2016, she released her song “In The River” and gained popularity for its themes of political activism regarding Standing Rock. She received numerous awards for the song and is notable for her work as a Woman of Color and as an activist. She speaks passionately of her mixed race and her Indigenous heritage in her work.
