Without further delay, watch the music video and have a listen for yourself here:

This music video begins by exploring the vast landscapes of a city under construction. Shining light on the real estate reality the video production of this song is entirely self directed. Bringing an retro feeling, this song is bringing the audience back to the day to day life of without overly glamorizing. It is this type of music and video production that is becoming less and common in this industry. Another notable mention would be that most people shown in this music are the people who support, provide and stabilize our daily lives. These are the people that should be shown more and appreciated it more. Making this even truly a more memorable song of this summer.
In Remy’s long career as an experimental pop musician, So Typically Now is even more vibrant and energetic. The aesthetically on point drumbeats with the techno background music mixes with her voice almost perfectly. Not to mention, the color palette used through out the panned out shots in the video is able to literally highlight the vests of the workers. In using such a saturation, it emphasizes the importance these people have in contributing to the wellness of our daily lives.
Let us all celebrate this new release and enjoy it as another hot summer drop from the music icon! For further updates from the artist, checkout mxdwn’s latest articles.
