Coming to New York in September, singer Rema is coming to New York City for his Rave & Roses US Tour.
Rema is a Nigerian singer who is known for his self-created called “Afrorave.” The genre is a fusion of African and Indian music. He started singing and rapping from a young age, and went viral for posting a freestyle to D’Prince’s track “Gucci Gang.” D’Prince noticed Rema’s talent and offered him a record deal. He then released his self-titled EP called “Rema” in 2019 and ended up as No. 1 on Apple Music Nigeria. This year, his first studio album titled “Rave & Roses” debuted. 10 of the songs from the album debuted on US Billboard Afrobeats Charts.
