This week, singer Courtney Barnett is coming to Adelphi Garden City for an amazing show.
Courtney Barnett is an Australian singer from Sydney who has gained popularity in both Australia and the US. From 2010 to 2014, she played guitar for other musicians and was in a band. In 2014, Barnett started focusing on her solo career. She released her debut album, “Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit” in 2015, and has gained critical acclaim since. The album was met with critical acclaim from major outlets such as ‘The Times’ and ‘Pitchfork.’ Her second album, “Tell Me How You Really Feel” was released in 2018. Last year, she released her third album, “Things Take Time, Take Time.” Over the years, she has won 7 Australian Independent Record Awards and 6 ARIA Music Awards. With critical acclaim in Australia, as well as overseas, Barnett is truly a treasure.
