Next month, rock band Khruangbin is coming to Brooklyn for the ‘Brooklyn! Festival’ at Prospect Park.
Khruangbin is a band from Houston, Texas that formed in 2010. The members are bassist Laura Lee; drummer Donald “DJ” Johnson Jr.; and guitarist Mark Speer. The band released their debut album “The Universe Smiles Upon You” in 2015. They later released “Con Todo el Mundo” in 2018 and “Mordechai” in 2020. This year, they released their latest EP “Texas Moon (with Leon Bridges,” and it reached No. 23 on the Billboard 200.
