The Cult Announce New Album Under The Midnight Sun For October 2022 Release Alongside Summer 2022 Tour Dates, Shares New Song “Give Me Mercy”

English rock band The Cult has just announced the release date for their new album entitled Under The Midnight Sun. The record is set to release on October 7 via Black Hill Records and was produced by Tom Dalgety who has previously worked with Pixies, Ghost and Royal Blood.

The band has released their lead single from the album in the form of “Give Me Mercy.” The song is fresh and dynamic, showcasing all of the hard work that went into creating the album. The track is accompanied by a music video directed by Juan Azulay. The video is equally eerie and intricate, with hazy scenes that contribute to sense of mystery and close ups that build character.

The group is also touring this summer with nearly daily shows throughout July. The tour will visit many cities all over the U.S. and Canada and will feature Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Zola Jesus. The opening show will be tomorrow night in St. Paul, Minnesota at the Palace Theatre. The bands will then travel through Wisconsin, Missouri, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Michigan before closing out with a pair of shows in Ontario, Canada on July 29 and 30.
