A few weeks after Nine Inch Nails announced their 2022 tour dates they’ve revealed the opening acts for the tour. Joining the seminal industrial band on the road will be electronic music duo Boy Harsher, left-field pop duo 100 gecs, experimental artist Yves Tumor, plus previously-announced opening acts Ministry and Nitzer Ebb for a very-special Cleveland show.

Sandwiched in between the tour dates are a plethora of festival appearances. Trent Reznor and company will be playing Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta at the end of April, Welcome to Rockville in Florida in mid-May, Boston Calling in late May, plus the inaugural Primavera Sound Los Angeles and Louder than Life in Kentucky in mid-September.

Boy Harsher will be the first opening act on the tour, playing in Raleigh at the Red Hat Amphitheater and in Franklin, TN at the First Bank Amphitheater. Then 100 gecs will open up shows at The Met in Philadelphia. Yves Tumor is opening the most shows on the tour, starting with a pair of dates at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, then shows in Troutdale, OR, Bend, OR, Berkeley, CA and Las Vegas, NV. On September 24, 2022 NIN will play with a couple of bands that influenced their own highly-influential sound – Ministry and Nitzer Ebb.

In June the band has a short run of UK dates. They’ll start in Scotland and play a few shows in England during the month. Nitzer Ebb will provide support for one night in Cornwall while Yves Tumor will handle the rest of the opening duties for the rest of the UK shows.
