Tokyo Police Club’s first album, A Lesson in Crime, was released in 2007 to positive reception — it received a 7.9 out of 10 from Pitchfork and established the band as one of the best new arrivals on the alternative rock scene. Their most recent album, TPC, was released in 2018 and was nominated for a Juno award in 2019 for Best alternative Album of the Year.
