Emily King to perform two nights of R&B at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on 9/1 & 9/2

 Soul-pop singer Emily King will perform at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on Wednesday, September 1st and Thursday, September 2nd at 7:00PM. Tickets to the September 1st show are sold out but tickets to the september 2nd show can still be purchased on Ticketmaster for $35.00. 

Emily King was born in New York City and grew up on the Lower East Side. Her debut album, East Side Story, earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary R&B album of the year in 2007. Her most recent album, Sides, was released in 2020, along with the single “See Me”, which was written in support of the Black Lives Matter movement and earned her a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Performance. 

If you like Emily King’s upbeat, but surprisingly soothing sound, this is a show that you’ll enjoy.
