L’Rain and Slauson Malone 1 will perform at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere on Wednesday, August 11th. Doors for the show open at 7:00PM, with the show scheduled to begin at 8:00PM. L’Rain is an experimental, multi-instrument artist who released her first album in 2017. She is known for her avante-garde, holistic approach to writing music, which she refers to as “approaching songness.”
Slauson Malone is a New York based Hip-Hop artist who is known for his thematic and project based musical focus. His debut album, A Quiet Farewell: 2016-2018, forces readers to question their previously held beliefs about Black politics, human consciousness, existence and freedom. Like L’Rain, Slauson Malone is heavily involved in his musical production and mixing, which creates multimedia musical projects that are entirely his own.
