Budweiser hosts Biggie Smalls tribute concert at Prospect Park Bandshell 8/19

Budweiser will host a Notorious B.I.G. tribute concert this summer at the Prospect Park Bandshell on Thursday, August 19th. The show is free to attend, but fans must be over 21 and must RSVP. The show will feature guest appearances from Busta Rhymes, Lil’ Kim, The LOX, and DJ Stephcakes. 

Budweiser will give out one of their limited edition Biggie Smalls tall boys to all guests who attend the show. The can, which is only sold in New York, will feature a painting of Biggie and lyrics from his song “Unbelievable.” 

Biggie’s mother, Violetta Wallace said that she is “honored to know that a brand such as Budweiser wanted to celebrate my son in this way… Christopher’s legacy and brand value is extremely important to myself and the family and memorializing him on the can of an iconic beer brand such as Budweiser is something I believe he would be happy with.”
