Indie-Rock band Tokyo Police Club to perform at Bowery Ballroom on 11/19

Indie-Rock band Tokyo Police Club will perform at Manhattan’s Bowery Ballroom on Friday, November 19th. Tickets to this 18+, general admission show can be purchased on Ticketmaster, and cost $25.00. Doors for the show open at 7:00PM, and the show will begin at 8:00PM. The show will feature canadian punk rock group NOBRO as the opening act.

Founded in Ontario, Canada, Tokyo Police Club has been a consistent facet of the Indie-Rock scene since their debut album, Elephant Shell, in 2008. Their lighthearted, only so slightly off-beat sound is distinctive and easy to listen to, making them an alternative go-to for festivals and soundtracks.

Tokyo Police Club recently released the 10 Year Anniversary Deluxe version of their 2011 album, Champ. The new release features an acoustic version of “Bambi”, unreleased songs and remixes of their most popular singles.

NOBRO has been making an impressive name for itself in the Canadian Punk-Rock scene since its formation in 2014. Their heavy bass and shredding guitar is supported by drummer Sarah Dion and vocalist Kathryn McCaughey.

If you want to see two of Canada’s best alternative bands at an iconic NYC venue, this is a show you’ll want to grab tickets for.
