Post-Punk band Algiers to perform at Saint Vitus on 9/14 & 9/15

Post-punk band Algiers will perform at Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus Bar on Tuesday, September 14th and Wednesday, September 15th at 7:00pm. This 21+ show costs only $18.00 and features a performance from Brooklyn based rock band, Zen Mother.

Algiers is a genre defying band that has been described as post-punk, gospel, industrial, and dystopian soul. The band is highly influenced by punk music, southern gothic literature, and phenomenology. They’ve released three albums, the latest of which, There Is No Year, was released in 2020. The album was released to positive reception, with critics praising its disciplined musicality and strategic blending of 60s soul, disco and noise music.

If you want to see this talented band perform in a cool local spot, this show is one you’ll want to put on your calendar.
