Thursday and Laura Jane Grace to perform at New Jersey’s Starland Ballroom on 12/30

Post-hardcore band Thursday, and punk rock artist Laura Jane Grace will be performing at New Jersey’s Starland Ballroom on Thursday, December 30th. Doors to the show open at 6:30, with the music scheduled to begin at 7:30. Tickets to this general admission event range from $63.00-$194.00.

Tuesday was a staple of early 2000s emo music, and has maintained an influential presence in the post-hardcore scene. Their last album was released in 2011 and the band split up in 2013, only to reunite in 2016 and disband again in 2018. It isn’t clear if their 2021 shows are a one-off, or if the band has an actual reunion planned.

Laura Jane Grace, the frontwoman of punk rock band Against Me! started writing and releasing music in 1997, when she was just 17 years old. She became one of the first punk-rock singers to come out as transgender, after she came out in 2012. She released her last solo studio album in 2016, but still performs with Against Me! and her band Laura Jane Grace and the Devouring Mothers.

If you’re in a nostalgic mood and want to relive the post-hardcore scene of the early 2000s, this isn’t a show you’ll want to miss.
