Ari Lennox to headline the Brooklyn! Festival on 7/31

R&B artist Ari Lennox is scheduled to perform at the Brooklyn! Festival on Saturday, July 31st. Located at the Prospect Park Bandshell, the doors to the show open at 6:00pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. All Brooklyn! Festival shows are free and open to the public. The show features Lennox as the headliner, with appearances from Brooklyn-based rapper KAMAUU and Jamaican R&B singer Nesta.

Ari Lennox released her debut album, Shea Butter Baby, in 2019 to positive reception. Lennox is the first woman to be signed to J. Cole’s record label, and describes her sound as “vulnerable but soulful; imperfect but pretty.” Lennox released four singles in 2020, and collaborated with Queen Naija on “Set Him Up” in 2021.

The show on July 31st will start off Brooklyn! Fest, a seven week long event that will include free shows from artists such as Skip Marley, Junglepussy, and Trombone Shorty.

If you’re a fan of Ari Lennox, or just enjoy free, outdoor concerts, this show is something you’ll definitely want to put on your calendar.
