Bleachers will be performing at New York’s Pier 17 on Sunday September 12th. Doors open at 6:00pm, with the show scheduled to start at 7:00pm. Opening the show is bedroom-pop artist Claud. Tickets to the show originally ranged from $35.00 – $85.00, but are currently only available on third party sites.

Bleachers, the stage name that songwriter and producer Jack Antonoff performs under, released his first single, “I Wanna Get Better”, in 2014. He previously performed with the band Fun, and Steel Train. Antonoff has produced music for many pop singers including Taylor Swift, St. Vincent, Lana Del Rey and Kevin Abstract. He won two Grammy awards for his production work on Taylor Swift’s 1989 and Folklore

The 2021 tour is in support of Bleachers third album Take The Sadness Out of Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on July 30th. This album is the first release following Bleachers’ 2017 album Gone Now, which peaked at number 6 on the Billboard Alternative chart. In the past Bleachers’ music has been heavily influenced by 80s and 90s pop music, and it appears that Take The Sadness Out of Saturday Night has similar influences — one of the singles, Chinatown is a collaboration with 1980s pop icon Bruce Springsteen.
