The Glass Animals will be performing at Brooklyn’s Prospect Park Bandshell on Tuesday, August 31st. Doors for the show open at 6:00pm, with the show scheduled to start at 7:30pm. General admission tickets bought in advance and on the day of the show range from $49.50 to $55.00.
The Glass Animals are one of the most popular Indie Rock bands to come out of England during the past decade. Formed in Oxford in 2010, the Glass Animals combine psychedelic pop and indie rock to create a unique and dreamy — but undeniably modern sound. They have released three albums since 2010, and their singles “Gooey” and “Heat Waves” have received platinum status in multiple countries.
This tour will be in support of the Glass Animals latest album, Dreamland, released in August 2020. Dreamland is an autobiographical album, produced almost entirely by the band’s frontman Dave Bayley, it draws on his childhood experiences growing up in Texas.
With lots of references to popular culture from the 1990s and 2000s, the album is filled with nostalgia and the tour is certain to be a highlight of the summer.
