Lights Shares Instagram Post Teasing New Song This Week

The Canadian artist Lights has announced that a new song will release this upcoming Wednesday. She shared a post of herself on Instagram and wrote “Good day. I’m giving you a little song on weds. it’s somewhere between happy n sad as I am usually both of these things. Here’s me w a wall that feels happy and sad also to go along with this caption.” Lights Poxleitner-Bokan (born Valerie Anne Poxleitner) is known for her gold-certified albums The Listening and Siberia and singles “Drive My Soul,” “February Air,” “Ice,” “Second Go,” “Toes” and “Up We Go.” In 2009, she won the Juno Award for New Artist of the Year and two 2009 Astral Media Radio awards during Canadian Music Week. She explains that the song is a mixture of joy and sorrow to reflect her current state of mind. Check out the post she shared below:

Other singles released include Valentine’s Day-themed song “Love Me” in 2019 and music video featuring Light’s real-life husband in 2018.
