‘My Oh My’, David Gray is Coming to the Greek Theatre on 7/30/21

David Gray is a popular British singer-songwriter. Born and raised in the U.K., Gray always nurtured his creative side, with his upbringing and hometown allowing his imagination to always run wild and believe in music as a possible future career path. At the beginning of his career, Gray released two albums, A Century Ends and Flesh, which while received acclaim in folk-rock circles, didn’t garner the mainstream success he was looking for. It wasn’t until six years after he started that Gray’s White Ladder would hit it huge, reaching the top of charts and becoming one of the highest best-selling albums of the 2000s in the U.K. Since then, gray has enjoyed great success, having even been nominated for the Brit Awards four times since the takeoff of his career.

Musically, Gray’s musical style has evolved over the years, going from a contemporary folk-rock mode to a more technologically advanced, electronic music-incorporating musical style that Gray has embraced over his career. However, this style will be most evident when you see it live. Notable for Bay Area residents and students of UC Berkeley, David Gray will be coming to the Greek Theatre to perform in the Bay Area on July 30th in the year 2021. Be sure to catch David Gray there and continue to follow MXDWN for all your music updates.
