Michael Steven Bublé, better known as just Michael Bublé, is an iconic Canadian singer-songwriter and record producer. Born and raised in British Columbia, Bublé’s talent was very apparent from a young age, having been noticed by family members at a Christmas party at thirteen years old. From there, Bublé began taking his childhood dream of becoming a singer more seriously than ever, getting gigs to sing at nightclubs from the time he was sixteen. His repertoire was heavily influenced by his grandfather, whose collection of jazz records played a huge influence on Bublé’s love for jazz and music in general. Eventually, young Bublé’s efforts were noticed by an aide to the Canadian prime minister at the time, eventually leading to an introduction to Grammy award-winning producer David Foster, after which he was first signed.
From there, Bublé’s career seemed to blossom overnight. His first album, Michael Bublé, reached the top ten in both Canada and the U.K. Eventually, his reach extended internationally with his 2005 and 2006 releases of It’s Time and Call Me Irresponsible. However, it was Bublé’s 2009 album, titled Crazy Love, that cemented his fame, reaching number one on the US Billboard 200 and remaining there for over two weeks. Throughout his career, Bublé has sold over forty million records worldwide while also having won four Grammy Awards and multiple Juno Awards. And on February 8th in the year 2021, Bublé will come to the Bay Area’s newly-built Chase Center to perform for nearly twenty-thousand audience members.
