Watch JoJo’s ‘Comeback’ at The Regency Ballroom on 4/6/21

Joanna Noelle Levesque, better known as JoJo, is a popular American singer, songwriter, and actress who came into prominence at a very young age. Born and raised primarily in Massachusetts, JoJo was born to a single mother who raised her daughter in very humble circumstances. However, JoJo’s childhood was full of music and singing, an influence that left a deep impression on her. While singing during child television appearances, JoJo eventually got the attention of Vincent Herbert of Blackground Records and released her debut album at age thirteen. Her debut album, JoJo, was released to great chart-topping and critical success and effectively launched young JoJo to stardom. Her second album, The High Road, was also released to moderate success. Throughout her career, JoJo has released a total of four albums and three EPs.

However, JoJo’s success isn’t only just limited to the stage. JoJo has also pursued an acting career, appearing in several TV shows like Hawaii Five-0 and even films with Robin Williams. Most recently, JoJo has announced her newest single, “What U Need” in support of her upcoming album, Good to Know, which is set to release on August 28, 2020. JoJo, however, will most notably come to the Bay Area on April 6th in the year 2021 to perform for her Bay Area fans at The Regency Ballroom. Be sure to catch her there and continue to follow MXDWN for all your music updates.
