Alexandra Artourovna Yatchenko, better known as Sasha Sloan, is a popular American singer-songwriter. Born and raised outside of Boston, Sasha Sloan has always had an affinity for music, teaching herself to play on her mother’s piano from age five. Soon this natural affinity turned to a musical passion turned career, and Sasha Sloan moved to Los Angeles at age nineteen to support her pursuit of music. Sasha Sloan has written for the likes of Idina Menzel, Maggie Lindemann, and Camilla Cabello along with pursuing her solo career. Since the start of her career, Sasha Sloan has released three EPs and has an upcoming studio album called Only Child in the works.
Having been featured on a number of songs by Kygo, ODESZA, Kaskade, and more, Sasha Sloan’s voice will no longer just be a featuring act but a live one. On October 12th, Sasha Sloan will be coming to perform at The Fillmore, a historic San Francisco music venue. Built in 1912, it originally operated as a roller skating rink, an art show venue, and eventually, the focal point of the Bay Area psychedelic music and counterculture scene.
