Catch Flora Cash at The Independent on 6/7/21 If You’re ‘Missing Home’

Flora Cash is a popular Swedish and American duo currently composed of Shpresa Lleshaj and Cole Randall. The two first met in Stockholm when Lleshaj, an Albanian refugee met Randall, who was originally from Stockholm, on SoundCloud in 2012. From there, the two bonded over their shared love for music, and after meeting, they decided to begin pursuing music together, forming the collective Flora Cash. They released their first EP, Mighty Fine, in late 2012 and followed it with a second EP titled Made It For You in mid-2013. The couple later signed with the Swedish label, Icons Creating Evil Art in 2015. They eventually also broke into the mainstream with their track, “You’re Somebody Else”, a song from the debut album.

Throughout their entire career, Flora Cash has produced two studio albums, a mini-album, and four EPs in total and been featured in television shows multiple times. Most recently, however, Flora Cash announced their first U.S. headline tour in 2019. Their Bay Area date was previously slated for 2019 but was moved to June 7th in 2021 due to the coronavirus outbreak. Be sure to catch them on their postponed date and continue to follow MXDWN for all your music updates.
