Louis Kevin Celestin, better known by his stage name Kaytranada, is a popular Canadian DJ that has produced many hits, including the likes of “Glowed Up” and “10%”. Born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, Kaytranada and his family moved to Montreal early on in Kaytranada’s childhood. There, Kaytranada was able to nurture his love for music, eventually getting into DJing and music production. Throughout his career, Kaytranada has released over thirteen projects and forty-one remixes. Kaytranada also inked an exclusive recording deal with XL Recordings, a deal that has spawned the project 99.%, a project that won the 2016 Polaris Music Prize. His second album, Bubba, was released in 2019.
Since he first entered the scene, Kaytranada has been known for his versatility in music production, releasing anything from hip-hop centric type beats to distinctly woozy house grooves.
