‘All My Friends’, Join Me in Catching Snakehips at 1015 Folsom on 10/5

Snakehips is a very popular British electronic music duo that is best known for its hit 2015 single, “All My Friends”. Currently, their lineup is composed of Oliver Lee and James Carter. Both discovered their respective passions for music at a very young age, with Oliver playing a variety of instruments from keyboard to the tambourine. The pair met first in Hong Kong when they were individually working at the iconic sake bar, Sake Bar Ginn. After bonding and deciding to work in the studio with one another, they eventually chose the name, Snakehips, in the studio. They first released their debut single, “Days with You”, in 2014 and then their debut EP, Forever Pt. II, in 2015. However, it was their 2015 single, “All My Friends”, that really launched them in the music industry, featuring vocals from Tinashe and Chance the Rapper.

Since then, the duo has released a few singles featuring Zayn Malik and MØ and are also working on their debut album. In this time, Snakehips is also planning to perform live at a few dates, including one at 1015 Folsom, a 21+ club in San Francisco. Be sure to check out Snakehips at 1015 Folsom on October 5th, and continue to follow MXDWN for all your music updates.
