The Oh Sees are a Bay Area rock band with origins in San Francisco when it was formed in 1997 and is now based in Los Angeles, California. Currently, the lineup is composed of vocalist & guitarist John Dwyer, bassist Tom Hellman, drummer Dan Rincon, drummer Paul Quattrone, and keyboardist Tomas Dolas. Initially, the band was nothing more than an experimental outlet for its members. However, after a formal lineup was formed and the band had multiple releases, the band became a full-time gig for its members. The band itself has undergone many name changes and even a hiatus, but since 2017 the band has been known as the Oh Sees and released content as a group since.

Along with the Oh Sees, Mr. Elevator will be touring with the Oh Sees as a featured band. Formed by members of the Oh Sees, this guitar-free band holds heavy influences from psychedelia and Pink Floyd.

And on September 1st, Bay Area fans will be able to see both the Oh Sees and Mr. Elevator live at August Hall in San Francisco. This event is surely not one to be missed. Catch the Oh Sees and Mr. Elevator at August Hall on September 1st and continue to follow MXDWN for all your music updates.
