Remi Wolf Announces First Los Angeles Drive-In Show

Up-and-coming Los Angeles-based pop singer-songwriter, Remi Wolf, recently announced that her forthcoming show will be the first ever Drive-In show concert performance in LA, taking place June 25, with all proceeds going to charity. Wolf, according to a press release, will be “… using her platform to directly support The Plus1 For Black Lives Fund (an initiative to address and continue the fight against anti-black racism and violence by empowering black communities, keeping people out of the criminal justice system, and dismantling it more broadly), and the local LA charity Summaeverythang (a community center that distributes free organic produce boxes to Watts and South Central Los Angeles)…With space for 120 cars, the unsuspecting venue will be the first of its kind to host a show this year in LA!”

The venue, as displayed on the promotional flyer, will be located in Chinatown, LA with doors opening up at 6pm. The already sold out show will follow safety guidelines as ticket holders will be enjoying the benefit concert in the comfort of their vehicles, observing social distancing as required to wear facial masks and further rules and guidelines for the event will be e-mailed to those attending the show, according to Remi Wolf’s official website. Humorously describing herself and her style of music, Wolf makes silly proclamations of what she brings to the table, according to her website, stating:

“Remi Wolf is a crazy bih from the Bay area but is also hella nice and sweet sometimes but also likes to yell at people but has figured out that maybe instead of yelling at people she can just sing and scream at people on stage when she’s in the mood to make money and act like a daddy dom. Remi also occasionally hosts The Steve Harvey Morning Show and the nationally syndicated Family Feud, which is on its 43rd season. She also occasionally guest stars on the Jersey Shore as a Snooki body double. But seriously, shiiii, this bitch fucks tho. Also, I am this bitch, so damn, come at me bros, and carne asahhh dude. Single and not ready to mingle. Check the tunes and you’ll see why…scary shit, brother.”

Wolf, as of this year, has been readily releasing new material from her forthcoming EP I’m Allergic To Dogs! due out June 24, via Island Records. The aforementioned press release furthers that, “Wolf is riding out a hot-streak of releases including the bouncy early hit contender ‘Woo!’, inescapably catchy & twisted ‘Photo ID’ and most recent ‘Disco Man’, which collectively have garnered early praise from Nylon, PAPER, VFiles, TIME, NPR, Hypebeast, i-D, Billboard, BBC, and Pigeons & Planes, who were early champions of Remi and have come on as a media partner for the LA show.”

Wolf’s bubbly persona is definitively displayed in her visuals for her newly released three singles. The aforementioned press release furthers that, “She has simultaneously released 3-D animated visuals for all three singles, directed by Dazed 100-nominee Agusta Yr, that take place in a Willy Wonka meets Fortnite world created around an epically styled clone muse leader.”
