Spanish for “troublemaker”, Buscabulla is a husband and wife musical duo, who creates lofty, dreamy, and ambient music. Their lyrics are in Spanish, which are filled with deep meaning, however, non-spanish speakers are sure to enjoy their easily lovable sound. They are touring to premiere their debut album, Regressa, about their experience returning to Puerto Rico.
Both born in Puerto Rico, the New York based artists decided to leave New York to return home after Hurricanes Maria and Irma damaged Puerto Rico. While there, they created a documentary, and worked on songs for Regressa. The album captures the feelings of returning to a place you once knew, and dealing with the changes you aren’t familiar with.
