Everyone has dreamed about starting their own band with their best friends, and The Frights were lucky enough to achieve it. Starting after their highschool graduation, the band played for a bit, then disbanded to go to college. After getting back together just to play one show, their talent caught the eye of Postmark records, and they have been playing ever since. Their close friendship allows them to produce authentic lyrics, with a sound that combines surf, classic punk, and a little bit of doo-wop.
The Frights started releasing music in 2013 with their EP’s, “Dead Beach”, and “Fur Sure” ending the year with their First studio album, “The Frights”. Since then they have recorded another album “You are going to hate this”, and “Hypochondriac” which changes their sound and lyrical style to more personal subjects. Their newest studio album came out just this year called “Everything seems like Yesterday” in January.
Be sure to catch their newest album, as well as hear some of their classics such as “Over It”, “Kids” and “Me, We, and I” live!
