Agnostic Front, Sick of it All, Crown or Thornz @ The Subterranean (8/23)

A Hardcore Three in One deal, Agnostic Front, Sick of it All, and Crown of Thornz are coming together to give Hardcore fans a nostolgic night. All are pioneers in the hardcore punk scene, each originating in the 20th century. However, they’ve all been able to adapt with the times, keeping what makes hardcore great, while innovating fresh aspects for their sound.

Starting in 1984 from their debut EP, Agnostic Front has remained relevant in the hardcore scene, and even released an album just last year, “GET LOUD!”. Sick of it All is known for its critically acclaimed albums “Scratch the Surface” and “Built to Last”, with their newest album being “Wake the Sleeping Dragon!” in 2018. Crown of Thornz frontman Danny Diablo has been involved in creating numerous hardcore bands, and reunited with Crown of Thornz in 2013.

These Hardcore bands make a return to give loyal fans exactly what they’ve needed.

MacGregor Salmon: Transfer student from Texas A&M to Loyola University Chicago, I am a Film and Digital Media major. Though my primary study is in film, I love all things creative and want to immerse myself in all kinds of mediums. Sharing and discovering music with others has always been an important part of my relationships with others. I grew up on funk, and the first song I can remember hearing is Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder. I still have much love for funk, but I also lean towards alternative, jazz, and anything experimental as I love to hear how new artists are changing the music scene. I find myself on Soundcloud often, looking for creative new works by independent artists. I also consider myself to be a writer, I love to write creative short stories, but I also want to use my skills as a writer to further my appreciation and understanding of music, and the artists behind their work.
