Catching DaniLeigh at August Hall on 6/11 is a Decision Made ‘Easy’

Known sometimes as Prince’s protege, Danielle Leigh Curiel or DaniLeigh is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, dancer, and choreographer. She first began her career putting out covers of popular songs on YouTube, but it wasn’t until her talent was picked up but none other than Prince that DaniLeigh made a career breakthrough. Growing up in Miami, DaniLeigh was always very passionate about music, finding influences in the likes of Missy Elliott and Aaliyah. Early in her career, DaniLeigh found an early mentor in Prince, who guided her until his death in 2016. Afterward, she released her first EP, Summer with Friends, in 2017, and then The Plan

In her music, elements of hip-hop and Latin music can be found in her primarily R&B-style music. Recently, DaniLeigh released a single featuring G-Eazy called “Levi High” in early 2020. In mid-2020, however, DaniLeigh will perform live for her Bay Area fans at San Francisco’s August Hall on June 11th. DaniLeigh is truly a star on the rise, and this event is not one to be missed.
