Pop Music Star Lauv Comes to Berkeley’s Greek Theatre on 8/28

Pop music star Lauv’s appearance at Berkeley’s Greek Theatre is one that is surely long-awaited. Having shown hints of his musical talent from an early age, Lauv, better known as Ari Staprans Leff, started playing various instruments at eleven and then picked up songwriting at fourteen. Although he was originally focused just on songwriting for other artists, Laub began releasing music on SoundCloud that showcased his talent for stripped-down electronic pop music. He quickly garnered substantial attention and led to him releasing an EP, Lost in the Light, in late 2015.

Since his first EP, Lauv has turned his successful songwriting career, which spawned singles like “Boys” by Charli XCX and “Imperfections” by Celine Dion, to an independent solo music career. His most recent project was his debut studio album, ~how i’m feeling~, that was released on March 6, 2020. His appearance at the Greek Theatre on August 28th will be in promotion of this new album and is sure to excite fans from all over the Bay Area. Be sure to continue following the rise of Lauv and Mxdwn for all your music updates.
