2006 or 2020? My Chemical Romance reunite at Oakland Arena on 10/06

How many times have you google searched “Will MCR ever get back together?”. WELL, Time to bring out the ‘ol Manic Panic. Reset our passwords to our tumblr accounts. Shake the cobwebs off our Hot Topic shirts (or just put on the new one you bought last week) and lace up our black converses. On October 6th, we’ll have the opportunity to live out the fantasies of our 2006 selves at the Oakland Arena. But, now I have to hit you with some bad news. Tickets WERE selling for $73-$251 but, what if I told you the entire tour sold out within the first 6 hours?  Tickets for their Oakland show are reselling now for about $500+ on ticketmaster and other third party sellers. But honestly, when is the next time we will ever get to witness MCR touring together? This feels like a once in a lifetime opportunity. If you are able to get your hands on a ticket, the doors open at 7:00 PM and the show begins at 8:00 PM.

My Chemical Romance needs no introduction; they’ve given us hits like “Welcome to the Black Parade”, “Helena” and “Im Not Okay (I Promise)” that helped an entire generation coop with growing up. I think this tour is a lot more than just a revival of a band for most; it’s nostalgic. Having some of the best fans, the MCRmy (who are now called the Killjoys?), there is no surprise that the entire tour sold out within hours. Just in case you missed this iconic moment where they introduced their tour; we got you covered with the video below:

Time to prove to the haters once again that “this isnt just a phase, stfu”. See you there!

Malik Bey: I'm an East Coast native who took on the adventure of living in the Bay Area for the last few years. I'm currently in the process of developing a social media website that will allow all kinds of artist to collaborate on projects and have a safe space to exhibit their art. In my spare time, I create a playlist series called "DRINK WATER"; which is a creative take on exposing listeners to refreshing new music. This series is a collaborative effort from me and a few other music lovers with the purpose of getting more music lovers to contribute to the playlist. I also DJ around the bay area from time to time; feel free to ask me about some of my live sets. But overall, I'm just a music connoisseur who loves talking and writing about music.
