Best Coast Announces February 2020 Release Date for New Album Always Tomorrow and Shares “Everything Has Changed”

Indie rock duo Best Coast have debuted another music video titled “Everything Has Changed” from their upcoming studio album release, Always Tomorrow, which will be released on February 21st. This video is directed by Ryan Baxley, and features a number of people from the television program Vanderpump Rules.

“Everything Has Changed” is about how the band’s vocalist Bethany Consentino overcame her addiction and is a celebration of her newfound sobriety, which is a major theme of the upcoming album. The music video for this song takes place in a parody of a vintage game show, which soon goes out of control.

During 2018 year-end list posted on social media Consentino discussed being one year sober, which she placed as her biggest milestone for the year, above falling in love and strengthening friendships. This latest album was produced by Carlos de la Garza and Justin Meldal-Johnsen, who produced for artists such as Paramore, M83 and Metric.

“One day, I locked myself in my closet and I forced myself to write, and out came ‘Everything Has Changed,'” Consentino explained. “The song was like a vision of life I wished I was living; ultimately, that song was prophetic — describing the life I would soon be living. Always Tomorrow is the story of where I was and where I am now, as well as the struggles I am still learning to identify and figure out.”

Best Coast are house band on Fred Savage’s new show What Just Happened ??!, which will break down events in a fake drama series called “The Flare.”
