30 years after the release of The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste, Chicago-based industrial icon Ministry has announced The Industrial Strength Tour celebrating 30 years of their epic LP. They will be joined by bands KMFDM and Front Line Assembly, who released albums with the same label as Ministry in the 1980’s.
The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste was the fourth studio album released by Ministry back in 1989. It received great reception from fans and critics alike, and 30 years later it remains one of the band’s most iconic albums. “Test” and “So What,” 2 of the songs off of the album, were named as 2 of the best songs by the band, and were included in lists of the best metal songs ever recorded.
The band has been active since the 1980’s, and their fourteenth and latest studio album, AmeriKKKant, was released back in 2018. Most recently the band released a live album of the band’s performances in Detroit in 1982. Read more about the details of the live album here.
