Life of Agony and Doyle announce Joint Beast Coast Monsters Tour for Spring 2020

Metal bands, Life of Agony and Doyle announced they will be joining the Beast Coast Monsters Tour this Spring 2020. The two bands toured Europe in 2019 and plan to kick off the spring tour on Friday, March 13 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The two bands began touring back in the ’90’s when Life of Agony first toured with the Misfits, Doyle says, “It was one of the most fun tours I’ve ever done. I still workout to ‘Other Side Of The River.” In fact, Doyle would often jump up onstage to perform this fan favorite during their recent European run.

With stops on the East Coast in Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and more the bands will be playing multiple venues before heading to Australia in May to play in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. Life of Agony bassist, Alan Robert shared, “We all grew up on Misfits records and have been huge fans since we were kids, so getting to know Doyle and the guys on a personal level has been really amazing. We had such a blast together last winter in Europe, that we decided to keep the party going in the States and in Australia this year.”

The band recently released The Sound of Scars which is their sixth studio album. In recent mxdwn article, their new album had rave reviews as it picks up from where it left off on the previous album. The band’s sense of storytelling allows the album to progress and keep listeners on edge until the end. Throughout the album, Mina Caputo’s vocals are strong and are backed by a solid rhythm section from drummer and bassist, Veronica Bellino and Alan Robert respectively. Joey Z, guitarist for the band, carries his own weight with satisfying riffs like in “Weight of the World.” For people just discovering the band, they are recommended to start from the beginning to fully appreciate the band’s narrative with their new music.

Kelly Tucker: Originally from Los Angeles, I grew up listening to all types of music. My first concert was Aerosmith with Skid Row, then moved on to concerts with Metallica, Lollapalooza, Guns N’ Roses, Soundgarden and more. One of my favorite shows of all time was when I was in college and someone took me to see the Allman Brothers play. I also scalped a ticket to see Pearl Jam and the amazing Eddie Vedder sing his heart out. My professional career started in 2000 at Nielsen Business Media where I was an assistant in a sales department and later got promoted to advertising account executive. When the recession hit in 2008 and the magazine was sold, I took a job at a call center and later got promoted to assistant to the CEO and COO of a global company. In 2017, I took a position at a pharmaceutical agency, and now currently responsible for coordinating meeting logistics for physicians and pharma reps throughout the United States. In my spare time, I work at Peace4Kids a non-profit in South Los Angeles and write screenplays in hopes to make a breakthrough.
