The late musical legend Prince will be receiving an all-star Grammy tribute concert performed by the likes of alternative pop artist St. Vincent, indie star Beck, legendary soul singer Mavis Staples and acclaimed alternative rock band Foo Fighters. This event, titled Let’s Go Crazy: The Grammy Salute to Prince will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on January 28th, two days after the awards ceremony. The event will also be broadcasted in April.

Prince’s former drummer Sheila E. will serve as the event’s musical director, alongside longtime Prince associates Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Other prominent Prince collaborators, such as his band The Revolution, along with Susanna Hoffs of the Bangles (who sang the Prince-written hit “Manic Monday”), and Morris Day and the Time (who performed with Prince throughout the 1980s) will perform as well.

“I was very honored to be able to do this for so many reasons, but to be able to help celebrate the life of a dear friend and be a part of this and be musical director is awesome,” Sheila E. said in a statement to Rolling Stone.

Other prominent artists who will join the event’s lineup include John Legend, Usher, Common, H.E.R., Earth, Wind & Fire, Chris Martin, Gary Clark, Jr., Juanes and R&B singer Alicia Keys, who will host this year’s Grammy Awards,

Prince’s estate released a previously unreleased track titled “Don’t Let Him Fool Ya” back in November. They also released set of previously unreleased demos back in July of 2019.
