Northwest String Summit Announces 2020 Lineup Featuring Greensky Bluegrass, The Infamous Stringdusters and Yonder Mountain String Band

For 18 annual years the Northwest String Summit has entertained fans with music within the genres of indie, funk, contemporary bluegrass and more. Now, the festival has returned for their 19th year, to bring fans and enthusiasts an amazing experience, in the greater Portland area, on the weekend of Jul. 16-19, 2020.

The festival will be featuring veteran performers such as Greensky Bluegrass, Umphrey’s McGee, and Yonder Mountain String band. Grammy Award winners, The Infamous Stringdusters will perform two sets throughout the weekend, alongside native Portland band, Fruition.

Greensky Bluegrass took break from the festival in 2019 to play The Peach Music Festival, alongside the The Infamous Stringdusters. The Peach Music Festival took place between Jul. 25-28, 2019. Umphrey’s McGee has also released their 20th anniversary album, It’s Not Us, in 2018. Since then, the band has not released any new albums, featuring new music, besides a live album in 2019 titled, Back at the ‘Nac.

Tickets for the Northwest String Summit are officially now on sale. The festival offers four-day passes, parking passes, Peacock Club VIP Experience, basecamps and glamping packages.

More artists featured on the lineup are soon to be announced.
