American alternative rock band, Grouplove, dropped their new song “Deleter” on all streaming platforms, on Jan. 8. Simultaneous to the release, the band has also premiered the music video for their song, via YouTube.
The video starts off with the entire band wearing jail-like, orange jumpsuits. They are dancing and happily bobbing to the music. The bright pink hair of their frontman, Christian Zucconi, accurately describes the mood of the song.
Throughout the song, the band changes the color of their jumpsuit to blue, and a crew around them start to bring in various paintings around them. The band sits in awe as some blank canvas’ are painted.
Nearing the end of the song, Hannah Hopper, keyboardist and singer of the band and wife to Zucconi, starts to paint a blank canvas. As the canvas runs out of blank areas, she paints the clothes of the band members, and eventually their faces. They all sing and dance as the music fades away and their positivity echoes.
This newly released song is to be features on the band’s upcoming album, which has a non-disclosed title, as well as a release date. Grouplove is set to play at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, on Jan. 25.
The band will also be hitting the road later this year, for their 2020 tour. Tour dates have yet to be announced.
