Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Gwen Stefani and More Announced as Performers at 2020 Grammy Awards

A slew of musical artists including Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Gwen Stefani, Aerosmith, and Blake Shelton have been confirmed as performers for the upcoming 2020 Grammy, which will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on January 26. Eilish and Lizzo are both nominated for multiple awards, including nominations in each of the “big four categories.”

Lizzo was the most nominated artist this year, garnering eight nominations, including nods for: record of the year, for “Truth Hurts“, album of the year for Cuz I Love You (Deluxe) song of the year for “Truth Hurts” and best new artist.  Although the performer’s song “Truth Hurts,” was released a couple of years ago, the academy nominated the song because it was never submitted for contention in the Grammys process and it appears on an album released during the eligibility period for the awards.

Eilish’s big four nominations are for record of the year with “Bad Guy”, album of the year with When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, song of the year for “Bad Guy” and best new artist. Eilish is the youngest performer to be nominated in all of the “big four “categories and she is also the first person born after 2000 to have a number one album.

Alicia Keys has returned to host the upcoming 2020 Grammy Awards ceremony, and this will also mark the first show featuring Deborah Dugan as Recording Academy President/CEO. Dugan replaced former president Neil Portnow last year, with Portnow announcing his resignation year prior.

UPDATE (1/16): According to Pitchfork, the Grammys have added several new performers to the 2020 award show. These acts include Tyler, The Creator, Spanish-language alt-pop sensation ROSALÍA, Run-DMC with Aerosmith (wonder what song they’ll play?), Camila Cabello, H.E.R., Bonnie Raitt, Charlie Wilson and Jonas Brothers.
