American rock band, Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders, starts off the new year by releasing a new video for their song, “Middle Child”, from their recently released album, Get The Money. The video was released on Jan. 7, 2020, via YouTube, and has accumulated over 7,000 views.
The video starts off by showing a little girl flipping through different TV channels, and Taylor Hawkins, drummer for the Foo Fighters, joyously singing to her, as her father, as she glances at the TV.
The chorus kicks in, and the scene cuts to the entire band jamming out, in a happy, rainbow filled setting. Hawkins sings with a smile on his face, as the camera cuts to a scene with his daughter.
“How I love you middle child,” Hawkins sings, as he and his daughter sit side-by-side as they drive.
The scene cuts to the two dancing together under the moonlight with colorful plants growing around them. The video ends with the two, laughing, as they roast marshmallows inside of a car, and fly off together on a PS2 graphic-like unicorn.
The band recently released their music video for their song, “I Really Blew It,” from their album, Get The Money, this past Nov. The video features Dave Grohl, frontman for the Foo Fighters, and the frontman from Jane’s addiction, Perry Farrell.
Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders are set to play on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, on Jan. 7, which will feature the live version of “Middle Child.” Grohl is set to play the show as well, accompanying the band on the guitar.
