ComputeHer Announces New Album on the Way for 2020

In the realm of 8-bit video game music that utilizes computers and video game consoles, electronic/chip-tune/synth-pop band ComputeHer recently announced new music on the horizon, via Twitter. The brain child behind ComputeHer, Michelle Sternberger, can be seen in the tweet posted this past Thursday, January 2. According to ComputeHer’s official Twitter page, the announcement read “Happy New Year everyone! I have a special album that I’m working on and I can’t wait to share it with you all! Stay tuned and follow along as I write new music and adventure on into 2020!”

The latest musical offering released by ComputeHer was 2016’s Bliptastic! a project comprised of nine tracks. Along with ComputeHer, Sternberger also is apart of the chip-tune band 8 Bit Weapon which is a musical duo that partners her up with Seth Sternberger. As previously reported on Vice, “8 Bit Weapon, comprised of Seth and Michelle Sternberger, has released over a dozen albums since its formation, featuring chiptune remixes and original tracks that use systems like the Commodore 64, Game Boy, and Nintendo Entertainment System.” The last released musical offering from 8 Bit Weapon was 2017’s Class Apples.
